Surprising; by the time we got to Dash 9s the locomotive manufacturers were pretty much insistent that microprocessor controlled diesels had air conditioning. Even NS, historically the modern kindred spirit of the "Cheap and Nothing's Wasted," had (as a result) cab air conditioners atop their *standard cab* Dash-9s without toilets, lol. Maybe they made a "Canada exception" lol.
