Sir, thank you so much for your fantastic oldie shots. LV pups, WOW! I sure hope you continue to post the pre-Conrail stuff from Eastern PA.

Really nice shot of Lehigh's interesting and unusual operating practice of MU-ing several switchers together and using them as road power. I understand this was often done on their hilly lines in Pennsylvania.

Truly a beautiful photo that captures 1970s-era railroading.

We know we can, we know we can, we know we can...

Wow! So much to learn here. 4 routes through this valley...really? Love it when something underutilized becomes all of a sudden important. How did the photographer even know to set up for this shot? What's left of these lines to this day? Amazing. Where else can you find redundancies like this anymore?

1:1 scale model railroading at it's best! Nice catch - always good to see more Lehigh Valley.

Great catch. Look at all those weeds the train is passing over. And thank you for the nice explanation of the four routes.

Thanks everyone. The response to this photo is as surprising as was the appearance of that LV train! (Later I did get the shot of LV helpers running downgrade on the Back Track.)
