Of what is that sign on the left warning or advising us?

I can't figure out what that sign on the left is supposed to mean. No foxes?

Did anyone else notice the sign on the bottom left? No foxes allowed? Please explain...

The sign might mean don't mess with the foxes. There may be a protected species there.

According to google translation of the German wikipedia page here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halligbahn_Dageb%C3%BCll%E2%80%93Oland%E2%80%93Langene%C3%9F "The dam is the most important structure in this section. In its center, a section is so elevated that foxes can not get on the mound after Oland, to protect the birds on the islets in front of them." So the "no foxes" sign is to protect the birds, not the foxes.

I asked a worker at the light railway company: He think the sign 'forbidden for foxes' was a joke. On the Hallig islands there are always a lot of birds and also young birds. They didn't want foxes on these islands, that's why this sign is near the track. On the dam there is a gap = a small part without 'ground under the track', there is only water. That's difficult for foxes to passing, that point is called Fuchsfalle (fox trap)
