I had to do a double-take when I saw this - even though I've seen it before! That's just too cool, at least for a one time event. And saves modelers a small sum when purchasing a brass model - they're all R-T-R. I can see this with a PC badge.

Great shot. We were just wondering the other day about why none of these has been restored. They are very modern and several are in existence. A good fan trip engine.

Unless I cannot count, is this not a 4-8-4. I know where to buy a smoke unit for my HO models, but where do you get a steam generator in that scale?

It almost looks like this picture was taken on a model railroad with a brass engine... That's super cool to see that this was a real thing.
