Can someone explain the different trucks on this locomotive? I recognize them from EMD's New Haven FL9s, but was interested in the motivation for using these on a GP7 instead of the traditional EMD Blombergs?

Most of CN's early orders of Geeps were intended to be branch line locomotives, the Flexicoil B trucks provided a weight savings over the traditional Blomberg trucks. Also note the smaller fuel tank.
