The Pioneer was great little train, very compact & efficient, with good food and GREAT scenery, especially coming over the Blue Mountains in the snow. Only improvement would have been to operate thru cars to/from the CZ. That would have required MUCH more equipment though, and probably messed up their ability to keep the schedule.
