Very nice photo. But the unit looks pretty odd with the missing nose door and headlight and with ditch lights installed.

A mystery, isn't it Dave? I would've been all for a hike-in shot in the Palouse Canyon, but I don't think Dad was interested in the long drive. Maybe if I had had my own car at that time, it would've been a different story...

Those goofy old men! I did 522 miles of driving and another 9.3 miles hiking for my photo of this move... but I had my own wheels.

Thank you Sean for a beautiful shot of a great looking train. It's too bad UP removed the grab irons and welded the door in the nose shut. However, it's still a beautiful E9 and a great looking lashup. Best regards.
