How on Earth did you get this beautiful shot? Looks as if you caught it as you were driving over the RFK Bridge though such timing would be impeccable! From this angle, the faded bridge actually looks pretty darn good! Thanks for sharing!

I've only been to NYC once and that was on an airplane that had a mechanical issue requiring a maintenance stop- (luckily parking next to a Concorde.) My point is that I still want to take a trip to New York City and spend time just looking around. This urge has been fed and encouraged by "rail pictures.net " and its photos such as this showing a lot of fascinating things. Nice shot, Bruce.

Congratulations on this exceptional shot. This is worth my vote for a PCA. I've ridden over the span many times and shot it a few as well but none as noteworthy as this one. Very well done.

How this did not get a PC, or an SC nor POTW is beyond my comprehension. Great job, I'll say it again, and just recall, the audience here has a bias for freight trains. Keep 'em coming, you have an audience of your own!
