Their's just something bout these old beast that's neat. Rugged and ready to roll in any kind of weather and that old fashioned air conditioning system well, let's just say the faster you roll the cooler you are. Grandpa's and grandma's little town in eastern oregon had these wig wag signals and they were neat along with a old bridge over the Malheur River that were missing a few wooden slats on the walkway. A UP branch line used to run west from Ontario and do business and have cattle cars and haul beets from the farms out by Brogan. It ran right past my uncle Gale's house.
