I believe when two photographers take nearly identical images of the same train at the same time, the first one posted is not necessarily the best nor is the second posted any less an achievement over the first. Then again, there are dozens, if not hundreds of similar images already on RP that are similar but not identical. Both you and Craig captured an interesting meet with Amtrak which make your images stand apart from many of the others. Congrats to you both. May you find the same appeal and kudos for your image as that of Craig's. It is the quality of the photo, not the timing of the post should earn one's respect. I like that I can better see both engines on your shot but I like that Craig captured and cropped the scene without cutting off the train.
