LaSalle was my favourite train watching spot when I was growing up. I began frequenting the station about 1970, when it was still the scene of D&H PA's on the Adirondack, Napierville Junction RS2's with freight up from Lacolle, commuter RDC's to and from Farnham, and lashups of CPR MLW's on the Atlantic Limited, complete with dome cars. Fond memories.
