I am far from an expert on trains or train paint schemes, but this is among my ALL-TIME favorites. Looks to me like it is on show and parading for all to see. (Take a hint, Norfolk Southern)

Great Shot. They really look nice just after being painted. I hope someday BNSF realizes just how popular
this paint scheme is, and lets people see it this shiny again in the form of a heritage unit or two.

It is the all time best paint scheme ever applied to a locomotive in North America. Hopefully it will be revived once again.

You look at a shot of these 'then' and see them roll by 'now' and I wonder why I even pick up the camera to record them these days. They don't even look like the same engines anymore.
