Were thees cars on cinder blocks missing there wheels? Sigh. Hope they are salvageable should the need return! Great series - thanks for the great effort and the shares!

All the cars at this location have wheels and that is how they got loose and fouled the turnout. I doubt they will be refurbished min any way. The whole operation is turning into one big derelict pile of junk which is too bad, because this would make a wonderful scenic RR. But the reality is that Jacumba is too far out in the middle of nowhere to have support a viable tourist operation and the track through the gorge was in bad shape ten tears ago, now it is worse. What it needs is some crazy rich person who wants a toy 1:1 scale train set and is willing to throw a bunch of money at it.
