CRI&P, the masters of kitbash at the 1:1 scale. They installed an EMD plant in the ALCo unit yet retained the original cooling and fan. EMD road locomotives have electric (or very early belt) driven fans. ALCo used a shaft power-take-off with right-angle drive from the engine. I would love to know how the Rock made this work.

I want to know how they got EMD blomberg trucks to fit on the Alco bolster. That requires quite a bit of modification to the frame as the two aren't compatible.

Amazing Steve. You have all four top shots at the moment. I have never seen that before. And you did it with photos of one railroad. The best I have done is two of the top shots. But I'm not a prolific poster as some railroad photographers are.

Don't sell yourself short Marty. Steve does do a great job, but I have as many 'windows' open of yours as his.
