Fantastic perspective of this oft photographed location! Nice detailed and informative caption, too - thanks for taking the time to research, share and educate! Never knew, till just now that the D&RGW actually was the owner and operator of the line running it's own steam engines into March of 1981. Amazing to realize this line has seen continuous operation with steam for well over 100 years!

My Grandfather worked for the D&SNGR & rode this train daily to work & back. This consist fills me with excitement, not knowing my grandfather prior. Thanks, Kevin. Great pic.
