Horsethief lake is a place my wife and I go to swim in the summer. We swim from shore a couple hundred yards to the rocks where this train is running. We climb out and sit on those big rocks, waiting for trains to go by, and when we get hot, from sitting in the sun, we plop back into the lake like frogs. We make the swim back and forth to shore 4 or 5 times in a day. Wonderful exercise, a lot of clean fun, and trains to boot. That phone pole directly in front of the Santa Fe loco, is approximately where we "land" when we swim out from shore.
