Posted by Don Strack on May 27, 2015  All MP15ACs were built with an AR10 alternator (see EMD Parts Catalog No. 311, dated November 1975). EMD never produced an "AR6 traction alternator." The ZTR Nexsys is a control system only. Very nice photo showing the cab end of the locomotive.
