Thanks for posting a great shot. However, I just cannot get enthusiastic over the styling of the GE P42, Put a N,Y.C. E8 in the lead and it,s a definite PCA.

Unfortunately for the first commenter here, it's the year 2015 and the New York Central is dead and gone and it's E8's have likely been long since scrapped, so there is absolutely no chance of the scene being repeated with an NYC E8 on the point, ever. PCA's should be given for thoughtful planning, and execution of one's composition, not because of power from an older era not being in the frame instead. Current times call for modern-day Genesis units in two or three paint scheme (or four if that one P32 is still roaming around painted in the older Metro North silver and navy blue stripe scheme), and unless they want to play the fantasy game, one simply needs to line one up and pick one. I for one fully appreciate the timing and mix between skill and luck that got the reeds to be placed both to frame the photo perfectly as well as not covering a single pixel of the P32, not to mention getting a P32 on Amtrak's roster that doesn't have a nose with collision-scarred cosmetic damage. Nice work.
