I rode many hundreds of miles in 1407 with the Tidewater Chapter NRHS back in the 80s on fan trips. The last time I rode in 1407 was in May of 1986 as a Car Host on a round trip Norfolk to Lynchburg; the day before the fateful derailment in the Dismal Swamp in Chesapeake, Va.

That's pretty cool! Its a very nice looking baggage car. In fact, the assortment of coaches hauled by 611 were quite phenomenal, and colorful.
