Marvelous... just marvelous! Always great to see the C,B&Q. In Denver is icing on the cake!

OMG! What a photo! So much to look at it would take longer than an hour. I agree with Mitch, simply marvelous.

Nobody rode passenger trains back then, eh?

Must be an "off day", ONLY ONE DOME, stunning none the less. What I would give to ride this train, even coach, today.

James J. Hill knew a good deal when he saw one. His purchase of the CB&Q was one of his greatest moves.

Unless you're a chain-smoker, going back in time to ride this train probably wouldn't be as glamorous as expected. To me, I think 'what an era to work for the railroad'. Provided I don't wash out, get myself killed or drink myself to death. A recently retired Engineer told me back in the early 70's he made $30,000 as a brakeman. Well that was more than most NFL players made. Though still a great profession today (provided you have the seniority) it's a forgotten one, not nearly as revered as back then.
