This brings back fond memories as I used to walk across this bridge 50 years ago as a kid. Back then it looked huge to a 12 year old boy. My Dad walked across this same bridge when he was a young man. No doubt my Grandfather worked on this bridge when it was built. He was a bridge builder for the "Southern" and retired in 1941. I still have his Gold Hamilton watch the railroad gave him upon retirement. What a "Blast from the Past" Thanks Rob for the pic.
