Great shot, TL. Makes me want to cry - I got my first 'real' camera in Spring 1973, but limited money and time kept me from getting to GA to shoot the Southern Alcos, which were pretty much gone from AL by very early 1970s. Would love to know location.

This line was on my must-shoot list, but I never got around to it. There is a spot where the engineer and conductor (in the caboose) could wave to each other (pictured in the June 1960 Trains Magazine).
