I usually hate to see fallen flags repainted, but I think that when the paint job gets this bad, a repaint is necessary.

Where anywhere did I say this was getting repainted? Kind of a ruthless comment IMHO.

I didn't say you said anything about repainting. I'm just saying that when a paint job gets this faded, it needs to be redone.
