A nice portrait of a well-worn warrior; interesting to compare it to the DD-1 on the left. I hope that some of this outside equipment can some day be restored, and perhaps moved under a roof occasionally.

Bob - the Museum has embarked on a project to build a roundhouse just behind and to the right of the AEM-7 at the functional turntable. This building will house a good percent of equipment. My hope is that the indoor equipment occasionally gets brought outdoors where it can be better photographed, and appreciated. Museums like the Illinois Railway Museum do this from time to time.

Perhaps someday someone could remove those hideous ditch lights and restore this to original Phase 3 paint.
