Nick - beautiful photo of a locomotive with a very "eye catching" paint scheme. Good position to catch the natural light afforded at the time of day. Interesting photo with a lot to see. I must say though that the signals confuse me...! The track on the right is obviously occupied with a coal drag and yet the signal indicates a red over lunar or "Approach Stop"? How does the signaling system on the IHB work in this case? Unless the red on the lens is completely worn off and it's just a white lens now - that signal indication doesn't make sense to me.

Thank you for your kind words, Dana. I appreciate it. I've always been confused by that signal as well. I believe the coal cars are stored, as they've been there for a little while now. The signals here were replaced a few years ago, so I'm wondering if it's maybe just a glitch, due to the stored cars occupying the track.
