4367 is signifigant because the engineer was the first female engineer to die in an accident on the B&O, C&O, or WM. It was a head on wreck on Feb 12th, 1980... engineer of an oncoming train disobeyed a signal and this was the aftermath.

This was a very tragic accident....and it was preventable. Turns out that she was in the fireman's position at the time of the wreck and was unable to either evacuate the cab or move to the other side (as did the fireman who was at the throttle). There seems to be some dispute, though, as to weather or not she was a WM engineer. But could you imagine the horror of those final moments of her life?
