This is a very interesting photo MarkT = what catches my attention though is the staffer on the left sitting in the chair...wearing sandals / flip-flops. THAT would NOT go over as proper footwear here in the USA due to the safety concerns and FRA / Railroad regulations. I'm surprised the man still has all ten of his toes. Still, an interesting look at railroad life in other countries.
