If you would like to see and hear what it was like in 1957 when these "Goliaths" hauled and pushed 100 car coal trains, Edwin C. Eddy made a short colour film with sound called "Pillars of Smoke in the Sky." Mr. Eddy had access with Norfolk and Western train crews in the filming. His film is considered to be the best amateur film of Y6's and J class locomotives. (Currently on youtube.)
