588/587, the Wadley Turn, originated in Manchester, GA Monday-Saturday and normally had limits to Wadley. The Lineville Road-Switcher had limits from Wadley to Coosa Pines and 509/508 came south out of Birmingham with limits to Shocco. These three handled all the line of road switching on the Lineville Subdivision and there was one switch engine dedicated to LaGrange, GA. It was quite common to see the job in your photo arrive back at the yard in Manchester with 100 car train of pulpwood
