Wow - Matt, if I hadn't read your description I would have kept wondering why you had taken a photo of a car dealership or some Government building? Talk about "Corporate Non-Identity" - this Union Passenger Terminal certainly lives up to the description of "Terminal"! No warmth, personality, and no feeling of even being a railroad stop. Government operated railroad and they build a station that looks far too much like a Government building.

Dana, this structure was built in 1954 and served several railroads well before Amtrak was created. Amtrak is a tenant in the building now, which is owned by the city.
