Fantastic, Georg. How much time does the Tunnel save? I can't believe the opening has finally arrived.

The time saving is about half an hour, more with the Ceneri Base Tunnel which will open in 2020. But the main purpose was not cutting time but better solutions for the freight traffic on rail versus street (longer and heavier trains, less locomotives, no pushers etc.)
