By my memory, the fire was from a ruptured fuel tank in Sarona, Wisconsin. Maybe 1977. I didn't look up my old slide. It was derailed but remained upright after some kids had unlocked the only switch in this little town and the engine ran into the siding and couldn't stop in time before the end of track. Before it got to the end of the track, it smacked a small MOW flatcar, too.
