So that scourge is not unique to the USA. It is a pet peeve of mine, I truly believe railroads everywhere need to crack down on it because I believe if they let that slide it will encourage more serious vandalism of equipment, tracks, switches, etc.

In Italy it is a real scourge graffiti! Look engine of freight traffic....
Basically these Italian cars are comfortable when maintenance is done regularly.
If it had its charm, a real train with a real engine! I like the Re 6/6!
