That is a cool shot. Except that location with no crossing protection looks like danger for the passenger train from a vehicle that doesn't want to stop. Yikes!

Actually, the entire crossover is protected by standard traffic lights that are just out of the photo.

The intersection is controlled with stoplights / traffic signals.

Nice photo Steve - from the thumbnail and even the actual photo, this almost looks like a painting. Interesting effect of the lighting and camera settings.
