I don't know anything about this particular station, but notice the date of 1904. One wonders if this is a replacement due to the 1900 hurricane?

This was the general office building of the Galveston Houston & Henderson Railroad. The freight house was located directly behind. When built, the GH&H was a joint I&GN MKT agency. Its located on 33rd street at the dead end of Market Street. We were there until 1983 when it was sold to a paper products company and we relocated to a new metal building at Galvez Yard. I started my railroad career in this building 38 years ago....

There is also a 3rd story not visible in this photo. It was very small and was the general managers offices....
