Hard to know if the train would make it on the 'thru' route and not derail before it got to the 'derail'.

Great catch. It's sad to see what was once a huge, thriving business area, and Route of the $00, has been reduced to this. At least it's not a bike trail. Yet.....

Yes, this is a branch off what used to be the CNW mainline that the 400 ran on.
