No problem ... you could have just fibbed and wore a sign that said "Not A Rail Fan". They probably wouldn't have minded.

Perhaps E&LS has mellowed a bit since 1984, since they maintain a photo page on their website "for all the rail fans out there wanting pictures."

The signs are because people broke in and stole parts off of his collection of Baldwin locomotives, Number boards, builders plates.
A sour attitude towards foamers but well earned unfortunately...
