Finding the front or rear of this engine, is like finding a corner in the round house.

It seems regrettable EMD never sold these in the North American market, they would have been excellent "Commuter-power" never having to be turned at the end of a run. Then again, in the 1950s most US railroads were operating commuter trains with excess equipment that was no longer needed for other services.
