The building is more secure than it looks. Motion sensors line the outer entry doors, hallways and all stairwells. Caged and protected lights span the parking light and backside of the building. Wireless cameras are also on the upper mezzanine on the West end of the concourse. By the time you could break in & get near the concourse clock. You've set off numerous sirens, alarms & have your face on camera.

@Terminalfanatic, I'd be more worried environmental-wise, than security-wise. I assume snow gets in with the broken windows and such, hopefully not close to the clock though.

Occasional snow does seep in around the boarded up window and such but no where near the clock. For being 88 years old and having moved around the states a few times. It's much beefier than you'd imagine. Standing nearly 13' tall and weighing almost as much as a small car! It was truly built to stand the test of time.
