SP even had a passenger car modified for this Police service. #4709 now lives in Bakersfield Yard as a shoving platform.

I photographed this former SP Railroad Caboose in Lompoc. It is also serving as a shoving platform. It's condiction is evident of the lack of law enforcement presence that would counter vandalism and graffitti.
