Thank you Scott and Tugboat. I spent quite a few hours trying to achieve shots like this, most of which failed. Not an easy task at the limits of digital photography. In pitch black conditions it was very difficult to get the camera focused, have sufficient shutter speed and a total lottery as the whether the loco would produce sparks. I just about got way with this one and was delighted that Railpictures accepted it.
