The dozers you have mentioned are actually Volvo PL's, or Pipe Layers. Pretty impressive machines that I've always figured would be awesome in wreck clean up. They're not tractors at all, but built on excavator type machines. Therefore, would be much more agile than regular sidebooms.
Any idea of who the contractor was that brought them?
