I still say the same thing about that paint scheme on the safety cab units now that I did back in Conrail days when they were "new" - that nose lettering needs to be about 2.5x the size, dropped down so it shows below the handrails, spread wide and proudly across the nose. That spartan cab-sized lettering just looks lost on that big wide nose, and looks almost as if the railroad was embarrassed by its own name. It shouldn't have been, not by the time they started taking delivery of their first ones, the C40-8Ws.
