When I was about 10 I was late getting home and thought I was in hot water with dad , where have you been he asked. I told him we had been playing kickball at the little playfield and he said to me, I saw U P on a boxcar and I told him no you didn't dad and he said it again a little more seriously this time and this went on a few more rounds and everytime he repeated it I became more defiant however just a little more defiant and then mom and dad started laughing . I thought to myself they've went nuts. Well dad was right he had seen U P on a boxcar. U P stands for Union Pacific I was safe. Great Photo Roger.
