A tower near where I live and one I use to frequent was burned to the ground as vandals torched it. Pity when people fail to have respect for aother's property, even though it may be inactive.

A friend of mine purchased an old tower when the local railroad decided to abandon the line it guarded. He had it moved, laid a diamond crossing in his back yard, and converted it into a rather awesome home.
