I know this comment is a few years late, but I just had to chime in...
Nice capture, David...and now (since I'm posting this in May of 2020) looking back, it's kind of ironic that you captured a "foreshadowing of things to come" for the SP as the Turkey Vulture may now represent the coming demise of the SP with the eventual merger with the Union Pacific in 1996, just two years later.
