Mr.Trub, thank you very much for all three pictures from that trip. ''Storming '' through Chavornay is perhaps an overstatement but,judging by the smoke plume angle, she was not exactly dragging her feet too much. What speed limit did SBB impose on that charter steam move ? I would suspect ~~ 40MPH. Those 3 cars certainly did not overtax her pulling specifications. Thanks again for this set of photos ( and all the thousands of others !!! )

The Eb 3/5 is rushed through Chavornay at 75 km/h (46,6 miles p.h.), which is the maximum she can do. This speed was determined by the timetable. The 3 cars were of course no problem and it's level there. As you can see, she is in immaculate condition outside and so she is inside.
