How does the towerman know what trains go where and in what route they run on? Because they all look the same.

@Dale Roth What they do is they have a sort of radar you can say. The trains have a navigation system installed, the towerman gets the information of the train from that and changes the tracks accordingly.

Hi Dale, I believe that in that tower they do not control the traffic and movement of the trains. That must be centralized in some CTA traffic control. I do not know exactly how it is. Best regards.
