Sad that this train stopped running and the cars are all gone now. For some reason the US cannot keep these kind of trains operating.

"New York" is now returned to its original NYC name of Sandy Creek, and is owned by ex-NS and ex-Amtrak president Wick Moorman.

Cruise Trains costs a whole lot to operate - trying to set the 'ticket price' low enough to attract customers but still high enough to cover costs and return a profit is next to impossible.
