From a very reliable source: "I think it’s an afternoon westbound at Mercer St. (later “Mosser”) Tower in Decatur, Ill., just onto the 10th District for Springfield, Hannibal, and KC, with the two-track 13th District to St. Louis veering off to the right, with the tower (controlled at Wabic eventually) right behind the photographer. Units are not renumbered yet to 3-digits, that occurred in 1961-62". Photographer appears to be Dick Wallin.
